For the 2017 hatchery activities our Ministry permits have been obtained and we await mother nature to serve up the right conditions for the spawn to occur. Water temperatures are warming up with the milder weather. The high water is receding and we hope to have our hatchery in high gear so to speak. The Children in Magnetawan Central Public School have their micro hatchery on standby waiting for a supply of walleye eggs to incubate.
The micro hatchery operates under our permits from the ministry. Check us out at the landing in Magnetawan behind the liquor store anytime you are passing by.
